I really love Japanese culture. I find their art so beautiful.
Throughout the history of Japanese art, one of the most common natural landscape themes is the ocean and waves off the country's coast. The waves have been depicted both in their serenity and ferocity.
The design above is based on "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" (literally titled "Under a Wave off Kanagawa") by Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849). First published sometime between 1826 and 1833 and is one of the most famous works of Japanese art.
People may not understand the Japanese text on the right of this design - which says “ASD” - but they’ll see the infinity symbol and know the serenity that lies in Neurodiversity.
