Jasmin Stoffer (she/her) is a 2nd generation settler, educator, and neurodivergent community member in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has worked as a student support teacher (special education) for ten years, learning and unlearning about internalized and systemic ableism. Currently, she is completing her first year as a Ph.D. student. Her research focuses on anti-ableist pedagogy, pre-service teacher training, and teacher attitudes around inclusive education for students with disabilities. Jasmin is passionate about ensuring that all students receive an equitable education based on love, compassion, and affirmation and that all teachers understand their role in dismantling systemic ableism within their learning communities.
